Lower Fees for Integrated Resorts

PAGCOR CEO Alejandro H. Tengco announced that E-Games at integrated resorts will now pay only 25%. This lower rate helps offset high operating costs. Tengco said, “Lowering our share rates creates a better market and encourages unregistered online gaming operators to join the legal market.”

Boosting Growth and Preventing Closures

PAGCOR collects fees as a fixed percentage of Gross Gaming Revenues (GGR). The fee cut gives operators more money for marketing and expansion. It also helps prevent closures due to high fees. In September 2024, the E-Games sector passed its Php100 billion GGR target. Previously, PAGCOR took over 50% of GGR, which slowed growth.
